ABSTRACT
This article describes our experience with a staged “hybrid” approach to the treatment of drug resistant AF, in which completeness single linear lesion RA was verified noncontact mapping system. Inferior vena cava‐tricuspid annulus ablation performed and followed by creation intercaval lesion. The study population consisted 24 patients 3.4 ± 1.6‐year history resistant, severely symptomatic, lone paroxysmal (n = 19), or persistent 5) AF. During follow‐up 8 2.6 months, 12 (50%) remained asymptomatic 6 (25%) had significant decrease AF episodes, while arrhythmia unchanged 5 (21 %) aggravated 1 (4%) patient. Overall, favorable clinical result achieved 18 (75%) patients.
