ABSTRACT
Some patients with temporal lobe brain tumours show aggressive or escape behaviour during awake surgery. As the amygdala plays a critical role in coping stress, we evaluated whether left right was involved six undergoing surgery for tumours.Brain were located cases 1-3 and 4-6. In 1, 2, 4 5, invaded amygdala.In case patient showed before partial removal of surgery; just after amygdala, calm cooperative. when tumour near removed. 3, awakening 4, initiated. 5 6, upon initiation from lobe.In conclusion, these results suggest that lesions might induce surgery, respectively, on respective side may play behaviours.
