ABSTRACT
This report based on research interviews conducted with persons struggling to recover from prolonged psychiatric disorders suggests that the rediscovery and reconstruction of an enduring sense self as active responsible agent provides important aspect improvement. process developing a functional in midst persisting psychotic symptoms dysfunction is described, its implications for understanding severe mental illness processes change are discussed.
