Formation of Bi2ZnB2O7 Nanocrystals in ZnO–Bi2O3–B2O3 Glass Induced by Femtosecond Laser

ABSTRACT
We report on the formation of Bi 2 ZnB O 7 crystal structures with designated patterns in ZnO – 3 B glass by femtosecond laser direct writing. The crystallization mechanism is investigated kinetics analysis and simulation three‐dimensional temperature field distribution. crystallized regions show larger third‐order optical nonlinearity than unirradiated region Z‐scan technique. This finding great potential application nonlinear integrated devices development new materials.
