ABSTRACT
The objective of this study was to obtain a phenotypic and genotypic profile Salmonella enterica including multidrug‐resistant (MDR) isolates from food‐producing animals clinical isolates, as well their genetic relatedness in two different States Mexico (Jalisco State Mexico). A total 243 were evaluated terms antimicrobial resistance (AMR) related genes through disk diffusion method PCR respectively; we found 16 MDR all them harbouring the blaCMY gene but not qnr genes, these represent less than 10% collection. pulsed‐field gel electrophoresis revealed higher similitude within Jalisco. low percentage resistant relevant antibiotics human health, nevertheless, AMR involved similar despite serovars origin isolates. This investigation provided an insight current status pinpoint epidemiological relationship, information could help determine adequate therapy veterinary medicine.
