ABSTRACT
This work evaluated the effects of epiphytic microbiota and chemical components on fermentation quality microbial community ensiled oat.Oat harvested at heading stage (HS) milk (MS) was sterilized by gamma-ray irradiation inoculated as following: (1) HS + (H-H); (2) MS (M-H); (3) (M-M); (4) (H-M). After 60-day fermentation, silages with had higher acetic acid content than those MS. Silage made from lower pH, ammonia nitrogen butyric contents dry matter, water-soluble carbohydrates lactic that HS. The communities oat were similar, they mainly Lactobacillus. The component rather harvest exerted more silages. This reveals different factors silage, which is instructive for us to produce silage.
