ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to propose a theoretical model and apply it examine the structural relationships among nurse characteristics, leadership safety climate, emotional labour intention stay for hospital nurses.Global nursing shortages negatively affect quality care. can be reduced by retaining nurses. Few studies have independently examined leadership, nurses' stay; more comprehensive foundations examining its related factors are lacking.Cross-sectional.A purposive sample 414 full-time nurses recruited from two regional hospitals in Taiwan. A structured questionnaire used collect data November 2013-June 2014. Structural equation modelling employed test models constructs. Our supported model. Intention positively correlated with age whereas working hours per week were correlated. position transformational indirectly affected effect mediated separately climate. Our fit. Our findings provide practical implications healthcare organizations administrators increase intent stay. Strategies including safer appropriate lower directly Transformational did not influence however, labour, thereby increasing
