ABSTRACT
To empirically validate a conceptual model of Clinical Nurse Leader integrated care delivery. There is limited evidence frontline delivery models that consistently achieve quality patient outcomes. promising nursing with growing record success. However, theoretical clarity necessary to generate causal effectiveness.Sequential mixed methods.A preliminary practice was refined and survey items developed correspond domains, using focus groups Delphi process multi-professional expert panel. The administered in 2015 clinicians administrators involved initiatives. Confirmatory factor analysis structural equation modelling were used the measurement structure.Final sample n = 518. incorporates 13 components organized into five domains: 'Readiness for delivery'; 'Structuring 'Clinical Practice: Continuous Leadership'; 'Outcomes 'Value'. Sample data had good fit specified two-level structure. All hypothesized pathways significant, strong coefficients suggesting between theorized observed path relationships. The validated articulates an explanatory pathway delivery, including practices result improved dynamics provides basis testing can be deployed across healthcare spectrum.
