A survey about the contents and features of oncology clinical pharmacy services and self‐evaluations of the oncology pharmacists in China

ABSTRACT
What is known and objective In China, with the increased number of oncology patients use novel antitumour drugs, demand clinical pharmacy services also growing. However, current status in China was seldom reported. The purpose study to investigate contents features self-evaluations pharmacists identify related problems for further development. Methods A 55-item online questionnaire distributed oncology-related Chinese hospitals January 2019. Pharmacists answered questions on WeChat platform. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics. Results discussion respondents 166 valid questionnaires from 29 provinces (or autonomous regions or municipalities). Their average working experience 4.86 years. duration their 3.27 h/d. consist 15 types, workload each service type summarized. are not frequently participating establishing pharmacotherapy protocols, therapeutic drug monitoring pharmacogenetic/pharmacogenomic services.
