ABSTRACT
Skin cancer is the most common malignancy in Caucasian populations worldwide and ultraviolet radiation (UVR) known for being number one carcinogen. As, especially outdoor workers, UVR an inevitable carcinogen, prevention management of UVR-related skin cancers these at-risk represent a collective challenge dermatologists healthcare policymakers likewise.To provide overview on current regulations acknowledgement work-related 11 European countries.Dermatologists from countries networking within EU Horizon 2020 COST Action TD1206 'StanDerm' contributed to standardized survey regarding national regulations, implemented recognition, as well possible compensation their individual country residence.Ten participating this reported existence established programme available certain occupational diseases; diseases were only specifically recognized eight countries. Seven recognize cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma workers 'occupational cancer'. Basal (6 11), actinic keratosis (5 Bowen's disease 11) malignant melanoma are not regularly approved potentially 'work-induced'. Only few included into general documentation system (national registry) diseases.
