ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT Objective To test the clinical application of LCM‐printed lithium disilicate veneers. Clinical Considerations A female patient with tooth wear was scanned intraoral scanner (Prime Scan, Dentsply Sirona). The six non‐prep veneers were designed (DentalCAD, Exocad) and printed from an LCM‐printer thickness 0.1–0.2 mm (CeraFab System S65 Medical, Lithoz GmbH). green parts after printing cleaned excess slurry debindered in a furnace (Nabertherm, Lilienthal) until 430°C dwell time 5 h to remove all polymeric binder. resulting sintered oven (Programat P510, Ivoclar Vivadent AG) at temperature 900°C. supports removed dental technician handpiece (Perfecta 900, W & H). final restorations stained (e‐max Ceram, by master technician. Conclusions ultra‐thin tried‐in on using try‐in glycerin gel (Ivoclar Vivadent, Schaan, Lichtenstein) demonstrated excellent fit esthetics. LCM technology enabled production layer thicknesses down 0.1 mm. Significance 3D‐printing is technically feasible provides adequate outcome. Additive manufacturing may pose valid alternative conventional subtractive manufacturing.
