Epidemiological survey and risk factor analysis of fatty liver disease of adult residents, Beijing, China

ABSTRACT
Abstract Background and Aim With the changes in diet structure lifestyle, incidence of fatty liver disease is increasing C hina, especially cities. The goal present study was to accurately determine prevalence risk factors B eijing residents, hina. Methods By using random multistage stratification cluster sampling, residents aged > 20 years Dongcheng District Tongzhou were recruited, questionnaire survey, physical examination, detection fasting glucose, blood lipids biochemistry, ultrasonography liver, gallbladder, spleen carried out. D atabase E pi ata 3.0 employed for data input, followed by statistical analysis with SPSS version 11.0. Results A total 3762 included including 2328 males 1434 females a mean age 46.37 ± 14.28 (range 20–92 years). Ultrasonography revealed 1486 39.5%. Moreover, non‐alcoholic ( NAFLD ) alcoholic found 1177 (31.3%) 309 (8.2%) respectively. After adjustment based on gender constituents Beijing standardized overall disease, , 35.1%, 31.0%, 4.1%, Binary logistic regression waist‐to‐hip ratio, diastolic pressure, triglyceride, high‐density lipoprotein cholesterol, low density cholesterol closely related . Conclusions have high as much which characterized Obesity, glucose lipid metabolism disorders are main disease.
