The diagnostic yield esophageal varices (EVs), gastric (GVs), and hypertensive gastropathy (PHG) was evaluated. In addition, relation form, location varices, grade, extent PHG evaluated.EVs were found by EGD 71 patients. overall EVs 72% (51/71). significantly greater F2/F3 than F1 (87% vs 61%, P = 0.03). Lm/Ls Li (85% 55%, 0.01). locus superior/locus medialis inferior GVs 29 Only one case detected 35 69% (24/35). There no difference between cases severe mild (82% 63%, 0.44).
