ABSTRACT
Abstract Background and Aim Many abdominal obesity indices such as waist circumference (WC), lipid accumulation product (LAP), visceral index (VAI), Chinese VAI (CVAI) have been considered to be associated with the risk of non‐alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), but association between pathological features NAFLD is uncertain. This study aims explore associations these NAFLD. Methods A total 147 patients biopsy‐confirmed were enrolled in final analysis. General information, biochemical tests, information collected. VAI, LAP, CVAI calculated. Spearman's correlation analysis logistics regression applied assess relationship Receiver operating characteristic curve analyses used value predicting fibrosis steatohepatitis. Results Non‐alcoholic activity score (NAS) ≥ 5 significantly correlated WC, both univariate multivariate ( P < 0.05). Fibrosis was positively After adjustment for potential confounders, remained Conclusion NAFLD, shows most superior efficacy diagnosing among indices.
