ABSTRACT
Genetic screening in Arabidopsis reveals that clathrin, a well-known regulator of endocytosis, is required for homologous recombination, precise mechanism repairing DNA double- strand breaks. Notably, CLATHRIN LIGHT CHAIN 2 localizes the nucleus, suggesting clathrin has non-canonical functions nucleus.
