Nursing Students’ Willingness to Care for Older Adults in Taiwan

ABSTRACT
Abstract Background : The possibilities that nurses will take care of persons 65 years age or older in hospitals and communities are increasing due to a growing aged population. Nursing students should be prepared face the challenges their future practice. Therefore, factors associated with nursing students’ willingness for adults need identified. Aim This study aimed explore Taiwanese work this. Methods A cross‐sectional research design was used. Stratified sampling applied recruit participants from seven schools northern, central, southern, eastern areas Taiwan. There were 612 who successful completed questionnaire including demographic data, Attitudes Toward Elderly Scale, Willingness Care Scale.
