ABSTRACT
Abstract Aims We aimed to investigate cholecystokinin ( CCK ) release in pregnant women with and without hyperemesis gravidarum HG ). Material Methods In this case–control study including 40 healthy uncomplicated pregnancies, serum levels addition hematological, biochemical hormonal parameters were investigated. Results Serum values found be significantly lower P < 0.001). Additionally, while blood urea nitrogen free thyroxine higher, sodium, potassium, thyroid stimulating hormone than control women. No correlation was detected between other like ketonuria function tests. Conclusions has been halved , which supports the hypothesis that gastrointestinal motility is increased . A causal effect remains confirmed.
