ABSTRACT
This study aims to investigate the levels of organizational commitment and work engagement among clinical nurses in tertiary hospitals explore relationship between them.The nursing literature supports idea that plays an important role positively influencing job performance. However, remains unclear.This was a cross-sectional study. A convenience sample (n = 621) selected from five Sichuan Province China. Survey instruments included general information questionnaire about engagement. Univariate analysis, correlation analyses linear regression analysis were used examine association engagement.The mean scores for 3.85 ± 0.59 4.58 1.46, respectively. moderate degree positive found them. Gender, monthly income retention significantly associated with engagement, they accounted 39.0% total variance.Clinical had level high Organizational influenced engagement; is, is significant determinant nurses' engagement.Hospital organizations should focus on assessing strengthening promote increased and, ultimately, improved quality care. may include, but not limited to, increasing rest time nurses, implementing performance appraisal system focusing psychological state.
