ABSTRACT
To analyse occlusion time, occlusal balance and lateral scheme in subjects with various dental skeletal characteristics.A total of 132 (50 males 82 females) seeking orthodontic treatment were included this prospective study. Using the T-Scan III version 7.0 (Tekscan Inc, South Boston, MA, USA), schemes recorded compared gender, Angle's classification, overjet, overbite, space analysis, transverse relations. ANOVA, t test contingency tables analyses performed. Statistical significance was set at P < .05.Occlusion time significantly shorter balanced (0.18 seconds, .001), Class I normal (0.35 = .028) profile (0.37 .002). Occlusion longer decreased overjet (0.60 .003). There significant associations between distribution Angles' classes occlusion, relationship, overbite analysis (P .05). Lateral only associated relationship .05).Patients showed least most a higher frequency canine guidance. Nonetheless, potentially group function highly prevalent all groups; therefore, ideal must be considered an to inspire aim for, but cannot essential requirement every treatment.
