ABSTRACT
Abstract Anthracnose, caused by Colletotrichum spp., is one of the most common diseases affecting sweet pepper and chilli production worldwide, especially in tropical subtropical zones. This disease results severe fruit damage both pre‐ postharvest. The development resistant cultivars effective strategy for control, which requires knowing genetic basis resistance. In this study, we analysed inheritance resistance Capsicum annuum to scovillei at two stages. ripe unripe fruits were inoculated conidia suspension, anthracnose severity was evaluated 8 days using a score scale. It found that has independent expression fruits. cases, main genes are responsible with polygenic effects. Genetic quantitative aspect, more affected dominance than additive effects, stages C. .
