ABSTRACT
Abstract In recent decades, research in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities has targeted self‐determination quality life constructs. Quality been extensively studied within various theoretical frameworks. It used to guide provision appropriate support daily life. addition, a vast body scientific literature focused on practical underpinnings as construct itself. To understand how is an essential supporting concept paradigm, this brief report unravels complementary but unique role that each (quality self‐determination) embodies. Furthermore, we discuss people with disabilities, reflecting both lines can converge be aligned from common approach. The aim drive attention areas future development strengthen understanding construct.
