ABSTRACT
Chagas disease represents a significant public health problem in Mexico. In the state of Hidalgo, studies on presence triatomines are scarce and restricted to few locations. To determine risk transmission Hidalgo stratify vector potential, distribution Triatominae was surveyed from 2015 2016 collaboration with primary care services local communities. A total 570 specimens collected 278 houses 25 municipalities. The species detected were T. dimidiata 391 samples, mexicana 159 gerstaeckeri 17 barberi three samples. samples domestic peridomestic areas. general index natural infection 9.8%. Indices colonization crowding determined for municipality results variable.
