ABSTRACT
Abstract In this study, a 60‐day trial was conducted to determine the effects of curry plant ( Helichrysum italicum ) extract in diet rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss with an initial average live weight 15.84 ± 0.05 g on growth performance and gene expressions associated digestion, antioxidant capacity, immune response. Four experimental diets were formulated as basal (Control; C) supplemented varying levels (CP05; 0.5 kg −1 , CP1; 1 CP2; 2 ). Growth indices showed significant increases all groups compared C group p < 0.05). Similarly, higher trypsin, lipase, amylase observed The superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) expression elevated CP interleukin‐1β (IL‐1β), tumor necrosis factor (TNF‐α), interleukin‐8 (IL‐8) also influenced by incorporation into diet, showing changes conclusion, study experimentally demonstrates that supplementing can positively influence healthy parameters.
