ABSTRACT
The Netherlands is one of the six European countries considered on track to eliminate hepatitis C virus by 2030. To achieve this goal, continuous efforts have be put into designing efficient case-finding strategies, including retrieval previously diagnosed virus-infected who are lost follow-up.To trace and treat all follow-up patients in Utrecht region create an strategy that can used future (national) initiatives.Positive diagnostic tests (anti-hepatitis IgG or virus-RNA) from laboratory four hospitals central for primary care diagnostics province 2001 2015 were linked clinical records.
