ABSTRACT
Abstract Alcohol use is the most important determinant of development alcohol‐associated liver disease (ALD) and predicting long‐term outcomes in those with established disease. Worldwide, amount, type, pattern alcohol vary. consequent have been increasing certain ethnic groups especially Hispanics Native Americans, likely due to variations genetics, cultural background, socio‐economic status, access health care. Furthermore, magnitude burden ALD last few years among females young adults who are at prime their productivity. It critical recognize problem care for these patients integrating aspects clinics. At federal level, a societal approach needed implementation public policies aiming reduce consumption community. By addressing challenges promoting awareness, we can strive ALD, high‐risk demographic improve outcomes. Finally, need studies quality research examining changing landscapes demographics as basis developing therapeutic targets interventions harmful drinking behaviours groups.
