ABSTRACT
Summary Eucalypts are one of the most planted tree genera worldwide, and there is increasing interest in marker‐assisted selection for improvement. Implementation requires a knowledge stability quantitative trait loci ( QTL s). This study aims to investigate s wood properties growth across contrasting sites multiple pedigrees E ucalyptus globulus . Saturated linkage maps were constructed using 663 genotypes from four separate families, grown at three widely separated sites, employed construct consensus map. map was used analysis growth, density chemical traits, including pulp yield. Ninety‐eight identified families sites: 87 11 growth. These mapped 38 discrete regions, some which co‐located with candidate genes. Although 16% verified different 24% property 38% exhibited significant genotype‐by‐environment interaction. provides detailed assessment effect environment pedigree on detection genus. Despite markedly environments pedigrees, many stable, providing promising targets application selection.
