ABSTRACT
Summary Previous studies have revealed inconsistent correlations between fungal diversity and plant from local to global scales, there is a lack of information about the diversity–diversity productivity–diversity relationships for fungi in alpine regions. Here we investigated internal soil diversity, productivity across 60 grassland sites on Tibetan Plateau, using Illumina sequencing transcribed spacer 2 ( ITS 2) region identification. Fungal alpha beta diversities were best explained by diversities, respectively, when accounting environmental drivers geographic distance. The ordinary least squares OLS ) multiple regression models, partial PLSR variation partitioning analysis VPA indicated that richness was positively correlated with richness. However, no correlation evident functional guilds analyzed individually. Plant showed weaker relationship which intercorrelated other factors such as thus excluded main driver. Our study points predominant effect along carbon : nitrogen (C N) ratio, phosphorus dissolved organic carbon,
