ABSTRACT
Summary Trichome initiation and leaf growth are two critical developmental processes in the plant life cycle, which need to be optimized accordance with stage immediate surroundings. To a large extent, this optimization is achieved by fine‐tuning of hormonal pathways, including gibberellin (GA) pathway. However, mechanism plants control GA homeostasis optimize these unknown. Here, we report that HAT1, HD‐ZIP II transcription factor, negatively regulates GA‐mediated trichome cotyledon expansion. Both protein transcript levels indicated HAT1 was induced GA, while an increased abundance turn, found suppress biosynthesis signaling, thus forming regulatory negative feedback loop controls fine‐tune development We also interacts DELLAs, GAI RGA. inhibits both stability binding activity its target genes. Overexpression della5 can completely enhanced enlarged . Our findings demonstrate functions as repressor regulate growth; addition, describe novel expansion through HAT1‐DELLA module under various concentrations.
