ABSTRACT
Summary Different transversus abdominis plane blocks techniques cause variations in postoperative analgesia characteristics. We report the use of unilateral quadratus lumborum catheter for following colostomy closure. The was placed under direct ultrasound visualization and had good outcomes: low pain scores minimal rescue analgesic medication. No complications were reported this pediatric patient. More studies are needed to evaluate effectiveness safety regional anesthesia technique.
