ABSTRACT
Abstract The goal of this study was to verify the influence population effect in estimates genetic and phenotypic components identify best soybean progeny or lines a commercial breeding programme. We evaluated 292 populations for grain yield absolute maturity during three agricultural years. To quantify efficiency inclusion population's model, we estimated gain with selection, Spearman's correlation, coincidence index, realized correlated response selected genotypes without population. It found that variance components, heritability coefficient experimental variation were better when included, providing greater selection maturity. Coincidence ranking among are magnitude more advanced inbreeding generations at higher percentage progeny. use has importance earlier inbreeding.
