ABSTRACT
Abstract Background/Objectives Little research has compared clinician acne severity assessment with either adolescent‐ or parent‐rated scales of impact on quality life (QOL). We sought to assess how adolescents and their parents perceive the adolescent's QOL correlate this clinical severity. Methods Each adolescent a parent completed validated survey regarding rated using Likert scale. Clinicians assessed standardized Statistical analysis scores respective paired t test Spearman rank‐order correlation test. Results The score more accurately reflected for than when considering as gold standard ( r 2 = .56 vs .36). were weakly correlated but not .36 .18). Correlations between weak.
