ABSTRACT
Abstract Plant‐parasitic nematodes (PPNs) are one of the most damaging pests to plants and able cause significant damage all parts plants, including stems, leaves, flowers, fruits roots. Studies on diversity, host range, distribution identification methods PPNs therefore vital in order create a basis for management. This current study represents first dedicated investigation from medicinal Vietnam, focusing diversity associated with 23 different plant species. In combination literature review this work has resulted an updated list 217 PPN species belonging 40 genera, 15 families three orders also provides pictorial online key 52 common important genera world. is based crucial diagnostic features females, female body shape, cuticle, labial cephalic framework, stylet, stylet base, pharynx, median bulb, pharyngeal gland, vulva, tail shape phasmid. Pictorial representations these their characters included browser‐based benefit users levels nematology, be they beginners or experts.
