ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to evaluate the response of Bali bulls (Bos javanicus) different semen collection methods and their effects on fresh post-thawed quality. The employed were electro-ejaculation (EE), transrectal massage (RM) RM followed by EE (RM + EE). A total 25 untrained (age between 2 4 years old) subjected methods. Fresh samples from all evaluated for volume, pH, general motility, live/dead ratio abnormality using conventional method. For frozen collected 10 bulls, computer-assisted analysis system used precise quantitative measurement velocity forward progression. Accucell photometer measure sperm concentration in samples, regardless frozen. Semen obtained 100% attempts EE, 84% 96% EE. There no differences among quality characteristics, including morphology viability, but pH volume higher than Higher observed other two Different age groups (2-3 >3-4 did not show significant concentration, percentages normal morphology. progressive VAP, VSL VCL acrosomal integrity after thawing In conclusion, appeared respond best combination RM, as a method collection, with shorter time stimulation required. Differences affect
