ABSTRACT
We aimed to study the effects of resveratrol on morphology, DNA fragmentation, follicular activation and cell proliferation after in vitro culture ovine ovarian tissue, verify if PI3K pathway is involved action sheep ovary. Ovaries were collected divided into fragments. One fragment was fixed for histology (fresh control). The remaining fragments cultured 7 days control medium (α-MEM+ ) alone or with (2, 10 30 µM). After culture, tissue destined morphological analysis. TUNEL proliferating nuclear antigen (PCNA) analyses performed fresh control, α-MEM+ 2 µM resveratrol. Inhibition activity through pre-treatment LY294002. percentage normal follicles similar between resveratrol, higher than those other treatments. An increase observed all treatments compared control. fragmentation decreased tissues . Moreover, PCNA-positive cells LY294002 inhibited stimulated by In conclusion, promotes primordial follicle reducing stimulating granulosa pathway.
