ABSTRACT
Abstract Epidermal growth factor (EGF) is one of the important regulatory factors EGF family. has been indicated to effectively inhibit apoptosis follicular cells, promote proliferation granulosa cells and maturation oocytes, induce ovulation process via binding epidermal receptor (EGFR). However, little known about distribution expression EGFR in cattle ovary especially during oestrous cycle. In this study, localization rule ovaries phase luteal at different time points cycle were investigated by using IHC real‐time qPCR. The results showed that mainly expressed cumulus zona pellucida, fluid theca folliculi externa follicles. protein mRNA EGF/EGFR follicles changed regularly with wave both ovaries. ovaries, was higher antral than those other stage, also increased stage dominant follicle selection. impeded corpus luteum development under action progesterone secreted granular lutein cell. expressions ovarian indicate they play a role promoting waves mediating selection
