ABSTRACT
Abstract The endometrium plays an important role in the defence against invading pathogens, although mechanisms are not clear. UFMylation is a recently discovered novel ubiquitination‐like modification system that pivotal inflammation and immune response. purpose of this study was to investigate effects on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)‐induced inflammatory responses immortalized goat endometrial epithelial cells (gEECs). Ubiquitin‐fold modifier conjugating enzyme 1 (UFM1) DDRGK domain containing (DDRGK1) were mainly localized luminal epithelium glandular mouse tissues. expression levels UFM1, ubiquitin‐like activating 5 (UBA5), UFM1 specific ligase (UFL1) DDRGK1, as key components system, significantly activated by μg/mL LPS‐induced response gEECs for 6 hr. Meanwhile, interleukin‐6 (IL‐6) upregulated, tumour necrosis factor‐α (TNF‐α) down‐regulated after overexpression gEECs. Additionally, we observed DDRGK1 markedly increased LPS‐stimulated endometritis vivo. In conclusion, current demonstrated LPS might be involved regulating
