ABSTRACT
Nowadays, the diagnosis for sensitive skin relies on subjective assessment or combination of and objective evaluation. No quantitative evaluation is available. It could be expected that confocal microscopy imaging interest to better define condition.Total 166 healthy female subjects were recruited in this study. Firstly, all completed questionnaire. Then, cutaneous structures measured by reflectance (RCM) face fossa cubitalia. The lactic acid sting test was conducted finally. According results self-perception questionnaire stinging evaluate facial sensitivity both positive regarded as group negative control group. The RCM indicating proportion 'disarranged honeycomb pattern' 'spongiform edema' statistically different (P < 0.05), respectively; following report 'damaged dermal papilla rings' not a distinctive pattern, with no significant statistical difference > 0.05). epidermal thickness 38.88 ± 6.81 μm, 40.31 9.37 μm in, respectively, group, there between two groups structure depth 20.57 4.86 μm. 23.27 6.38 being 0.05).Based results, 'epidermal structure' may used new signs effectively. Indeed, thinner compared group. Such specific pattern has good clinical monitoring value further exploration. provide data patterns skin.
