ABSTRACT
Abstract Background The stabilizing effect of lavender and the arousal peppermint essential oils are acknowledged used widely in aromatherapy cosmetics industry. However, no evaluation method confirms effects through quantitative objective electroencephalogram (EEG) results; instead, only a psychological subjective exists. Therefore, this study aims to create new emotional cosmetic paradigm using EEG values. Moreover, it enables interpretation results addition survey outcomes. Methods For study, 12 healthy female Korean participants were recruited three fragrances used. collected for 3 minutes (1 minute each before, during, after inhalation every fragrance). Results outcomes indicate changes participant's brainwaves before inhalation. Significant observed. Based on results, confirmed be lavender, arousing coffee aroma. Furthermore, questionnaire similar tendency as that results. Conclusion In assessments, our can verify fragrance
