Often, these may be abused misused desperate attempt rid pets ticks. objective this study was compare efficacy fipronil with herbal alternative, neem (Azadirachta indica). Triplicate vitro trials utilizing Larval Packet Test (LPT) were conducted using three concentrations (low, recommended high) (0.025%, 0.05% 0.1%), (0.01%, 0.02% 1%), oil (10%, 20% 40%) leaf extract (0.25%, 0.5% 2%) each trial. Statistical analysis mixed-effect Poisson regression indicated that there significant difference (p < .05) survival ticks pre-treatment versus post-treatment amitraz, all controls when compared oil. Fipronil caused ≥99% mortality study. Mortalities ranged from 72.7% 82% 38% 95.3%, respectively, greatest percentage occurring at lower concentrations. Neem can alternative acaricides, however, they less efficacious against than
