ABSTRACT
Norovirus (NV) can cause chronic and severe gastroenteritis with possible lethal outcome in immunocompromised patients. The knowledge of NV infections allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) recipients is limited. aim this study was to clarify the clinical importance a large cohort HSCT recipients. All patients undergoing diagnosed at Karolinska University Hospital from 2006-2012 were included (63 patients). Clinical data collected medical records, statistics performed using logistic regression method. The majority (70%) had short-term symptoms (≤14 days). However, 54% all required admission or prolonged hospitalization owing infection. In 16% (>30 days), but one these picture also severe, malnutrition requiring long-term TPN, serious dehydration. Severe combined immune deficiency (SCID) diagnosis associated infection (OR 30.3, CI 2.5-368).NV an important pathogen setting, although seems be mild most Increased needed further identify risk factors for course
