ABSTRACT
Over the past few years, technology has had a significant influence on teaching and learning process. The appearance of several types new technologies benefitted some improvements in language to students, which one is popular social media platform. This study focused exploration students’ perceptions towards use this platform for pronunciation improvement classes. A total 32 students from Grade VIII SMP Cinta Rakyat 3 Pematangsiantar were selected be participants. Overall, participating highly accepting its learning, particularly skills. They positive perception as it was seen an approachable user-friendly tool that effective contributing English enhancing abilities. study’s result will able extended future empirical research using TikTok since theoretical investigation only. Next, researchers should execute further investigate any possible impact speaking skills, including investigating productive skills pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, grammar, discourse markers.
