Influence of Feeding Wormwood (Artemisia Capillaris) on Quail Meat Productivity

Recently, the requirements for quality and safety of poultry products have significantly increased, what has notably limited use antibiotics in feeding poultry.This is one reasons growing interest phytogenic feed additives.We conducted an experiment to determine influence Artemisia capillaris on young quail meat productivity.To carry out experiment, we formed five groups, each counting 100 heads.During which lasted 35 days, dried powdered wormwood (Artemisia capillaris) amount 0.5%, 1.0 1.5% by weight compound was introduced into birds 2 nd , 3 rd 4 th experimental groups.The showed a positive effect studied factor body quail; highest group -251.03g, lowest it control -238.24g.Also during costs per 1 kg gain were group, this indicator exceeded 4.91%.Feeding as part 0.5 1.0% groups increased gutted carcass 0.41-1.67%,while further increase content led decrease 0.26% compared group.
