Utilization of dental care among mothers and children from multicultural families

Objectives The purpose of this study was to identify the status dental care utilization among mothers and children from multicultural families analyzing related factors. Methods subjects in were 131 175 Korean (control) who selected by convenience sampling city Nonsan. compared. A questionnaire survey conducted using self-administration method for a face-to-face interviewing families. Results proportion visited dentist’s office past year not different between two groups mothers. However, lower than those factors that influenced visit clinics age spouse’s age, personal perceptions about oral health, health concerns clinic visits mother’s career, household income, education level mother, children’s visits, perception father’s marriage duration parents, clinical visit, children.
