ABSTRACT
Personal mobility vehicles (PMVs) as new individual transportation have been proposed around the world. It is important to ensure safe operation of a PMV, especially when PMV shares space with pedestrian. In this paper, in order evaluate influence size on pedestrians, we measured personal pedestrians who walked against user. From experimental results, it was shown that width and height step significantly affected pedestrians. Especially becomes larger, front expanded. simulation introducing idea space, affinity between quantitatively analyzed. found affects toward pedestrians.Copyright © 2012 by ASME
