ABSTRACT
A dynamic cutting force and vibration model of the micro-endmilling process that accounts for dynamics micro-endmill, influences stable built-up-edge, effects minimum chip thickness, elastic recovery, elastic-plastic nature in ploughing/rubbing has been developed. Experimental validation performed, is shown to predict tool within an average 12%. Using developed, thickness recovery on forces vibrations as well stability have examined. The results indicate large edge radius relative feedrate causes be sensitive feedrate, resulting low instability phenomenon. significantly increases peak-to-valley enlarges unstable range.
