ABSTRACT
Ticks are vectors for a number of important human and animal pathogens. In this study, Corynebacterium lactis was isolated from Amblyomma testudinarium Koch tick sampled wild boar in Malaysia. Imaging with transmission electron microscope complete genome sequencing were performed C. which shared similar morphology to other species susceptible most the commonly used antibiotics. The draft revealed total length 2,568,615 bp G+C content 64.3%. This is first description isolation ticks, raising possibility that ticks could be vector emerging pathogen companion animals.
