ABSTRACT
We report experimental demonstration of a Fano type resonant structure for simultaneous realization change in external temperature and refractive index. The has been made by depositing hybrid nano-composite on silver thin film. The study also done adding dielectric silica spacer layer between the film.In plasmonic gold nanorods are synergistically integrated with Pnipam, thermo-responsive polymer. Here resonance arises from near field coupling narrow localised surface plasmon (LSP) mode broad (SP) strength thus line shape which depends separation two systems is seen to be changed incorporating changing hydrodynamic diameter Pnipam variation temperature. This indicates that mentioned system capability sense index simultaneously.Furthermore we have numerical investigation based finite element method (FEM) see effect film upon distance them giving an idea about variation. All these suggesting this will not only help label-free detection foreign protein molecule but identifying different thermodynamic states reactions crucial engineering.
