ABSTRACT
We present the mission design of LiteBIRD, a next generation satellite for study B-mode polarization and inflation from cosmic microwave background radiation (CMB) detection. The science goal LiteBIRD is to measure CMB with sensitivity δr = 0:001, this allows testing major single-field slow-roll models experimentally. instrumental purely driven achieve goal. At earlier stage design, several key specifications, e.g. observing band, optical system, scan strategy, orbit, need be defined in order process rest detailed design. have gone through feasibility studies these items understand tradeoffs between requirements compatibilities bus system. describe overview discuss among choices scientific specifications strategies. first round will completed by end year 2014 ready definition review target launch date early 2020s.
