ABSTRACT
In this paper we have investigated Bragg fibers for the 1.94 μm laser- radiation delivery generated by a thulium fiber laser with maximal continuous output power 50W. For such investigation laboratory-designed and fabricated hollow-core been employed different diameters of 5, 40, 56 73 surrounded three pairs circular layers. Fundamental optical characteristics as overall transmittance, attenuation coefficient, bending losses, delivered spatial beam profiles at wavelength all tested are reported summarized in contribution. case intensity 65 kW/cm2, lowest coefficient 1.278 dB/m was determined inner air-core diameter μm. Moreover, losses small bend 15 mm reached 0.177 dB only. However highly multimode character.
