ABSTRACT
The joint European x-ray telescope (JET-X) is one of the core scientific instruments RUssian SPECTRUM X-(gamma) astrophysics mission. JET-X designed to study emission from sources in band 0.3-10 keV; particular meet primary goals cosmology and extragalactic astronomy. consists two identical, coaligned telescopes, each with a spatial resolution better than 30 arcsec half energy width. Focal plane imaging provided by cooled sensitive CCD detectors which combine high good spectral resolution, including coverage iron line complex around 7 keV at (Delta) E/E approximately 1.5 percent. Each composed nested array 12 mirror shells an aperture 300 mm focal length 3500 mm; total effective area 330 cm2 145 8.1 keV. have Wolter I geometry are manufactured electroforming replica process. paper presents characteristic flight model optics.
